A source in the film industry reveals about when we can expect the release of Part-I of Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Baahubali. Months ago, Rajamouli confirmed that ‘Baahubali’ was aiming for a release sometime in 2015. Now, although the director did not confirm the release date, few sources report that the date has been finalized for Part-I of the film as April 15, 2015 and Part–II in the second half of the same year. This upcoming two part Indian epic film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil with an ensemble cast of Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Nasser, Satyaraj, Adavi Sesh, Sudeep and Allu Arjun (in cameo role). It’s being made with a giant budget of Rs 1 billion on Arka Media Works banner with Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni as joint producers.. The film promises to be the most ambitious project in Rajamouli’s career and the director, critically acclaimed for ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Eega’, seems to enjoy making this period drama. While Part-I will see Anushka alongside Prabhas, the Part–II will have Tammannaah opposite Prabhas. Music is rendered by M M Keeravani and cinematography by K K Senthil Kumar, the regular technicians from Rajamouli’s team. Rajamouli’s mentor K Raghavendra Rao, who was immensely impressed with his working style has decided to be the presenter of the film.
