Nenu Sailaja to Ring in 2016 for Tollywood with a bang

Ram, Keerthy Suresh starrer Nenu Sailaja is one of the most talked about films of the season and it's not without a reason. After a string of commercial entertainers, Ram will be seen in a brand new avatar in the film and Nenu Sailaja is a 'fresh love story'.

Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film narrates the story of a happy-go-lucky guy, who is never lucky in love, and what happens to his life when he meets a girl named Sailaja played by Keethy Suresh. The film explores the intricacies of love and how it is more complicated than we imagine it to be. Sravanthi Ravi Kishore has produced the film under Sri Sravanthi Movies banner.

While the film is slated for release on January 1st in India, iDream Media Inc, which acquired the overseas rights of the film, will be releasing in it as many as 65locations in the US alone and most of these locations will also have a premiere of December 31.

The film has been in news for its music, which has received rave response from all quarters, and it's easily one of the best music albums in Ram's career. Devi Sri Prasad, who scored the music, has churned out a chart busting album with songs including 'its a crazy crazy feeling' and others, which will enthral the viewers.

Moreover, the trailer of Nenu Sailaja has created huge positive buzz about the film, which is a soulful love story devoid of any cliches. In the past few days, Ram himself had stated that he was quite surprised with the way Kishore Tirumala had etched his character and that it was a big challenge for him to be as real as he can to play the role.

In fact, one of the most talked about songs from the album, Sailaja…Sailaja , which has lyrics that have become instant hit with the youth, was shot in a record 10 hours and Ram himself was shocked to see the makeover he had gone through, both in terms of his performance and dance moves.

'Kattappa' Satyaraj plays the loving father

The film also explores the relationship between a father and his daughter, and with 'Kattappa' Sathyaraj and Keerthy Suresh playing these two roles respectively, the film will strike a chord with audiences from all age groups. Incidentally, this is the first Telugu film in which Sathyaraj has acted post his legendary 'Kattappa' role in Baahubali.

Refreshing supporting cast

Besides the films also has very good supporting cast with Pradeep Raawat, in a refreshingly different role, and senior actors Naresh, Rohini too in crucial characters.
