‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ Releases On January 14

People’s star R Narayana Murthy and Sahajanati Jayasudha starrer ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ has wrapped up censor formalities and is all set for release on January 14 as Sankranti treat. On the eve of film’s release, the makets have arranged a press meet on Friday i.e. on January 6 at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. Sri Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Films is bringing the film. Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao as presenter, the film is being produced by Chadalawada Padmavathi. Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao himself has provided story, screenplay and dialogues and also handled the direction department.

Speaking at the press meet, director Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao said, “I have been enjoying Sankranti since my childhood i.e. since 50 years. We all know that how the craze will be for Sankranti in the film industry. There is full competition in the industry in a never before way for this Sankranti. Audience are showing interest on upcoming films rather than Rooster Fight. Competition is important for quality output. Our film ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ is releasing for this Sankranti. Censor formalities related to the film have been completed and received ‘U/A’. The film is coming to audience on January 14.”

Director Ajay opined, “Despite being new to direction, Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao has moulded the film without any tension. He has presented R Narayana Murthy garu in a different way. It’s not a simple thing for a new director to show a senior actor in a different way. The film depicts how the life will be without money. The story was not penned according to the present situation, but it is quite a coincidence that it matched to the present situations. Any message will reach audience if it is said by blending with family drama. I am confident that the film will become big hit. Small budget films are facing problems because of theaters. I feel that the competition should not be like to suppress small films producers. I request bigwigs of the film industry should think about the solution for the theaters problem.”

People’s Star R Narayana Murthy said, “I am thankful to Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao garu for giving me a wonderful role to me. I have been in the film industry since 30 years. My police friends would constantly ask me to play police role. I used to tell them I am not against police. Money values are dominating human values. Director Chadalawada Srinivasa Rao garu got the idea on how the life will be without money. I loved the point and in addition to this we have good relationship since long time and therefore accepted to act in this film. He made the film without compromising in any aspects. Whenever I say him that why he is investing huge amount on me, he would say not to bother about budget. I have great respect on Mahanati Savitri garu. She is my favourite actress. After Savitri garu, Jayasudha garu is my favourite actress. I consider myself lucky that I am playing alongside Jayasudha garu. First time my film is releasing on Sankranti. ‘Head Constable Venkatramaiah’ is coming to audience on January 14. Megastar Chirajeevi’s filmis on one side and Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film is on another side. The situation is my film has no theater. It’s a pity. This situation has come because theaters are in the hands of few big people. It’s a depravity. It is Film Chamber, Producer Counsel and Government should take the responsibility to eradicate the problem. To encash the craze, all theaters are screening one film. Is it right to release small films when there is no festival or when no big film. Audience will decide the success or failure. Film industry is not a single man’s property. I request everyone to give justice to small films.”
