Thoofan is jointly produced by Reliance Entertainment, Puneet Prakash Mehra, Sumeet Prakash Mehra and Flying Turtle films and is co-produced by Rampage Motion Pictures. The movie is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who has created quite a name for himself in B-Town. Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead along with distinguished actors like Prakash Raj, Sri Hari, Tanikella Bharani and Mahie Gill. With Sri Hari playing the Telugu counterpart of Zanjeer's Sanjay Dutt, the movie promises to be a high voltage drama.
