Ram Pothineni brought into the world 15th May 1988 and is a Telugu film industry Indian actor. He was born in Telangana, Hyderabad.
Ram is son of the well-renowned film producer Ravi Kishore Pothineni nephew Murali Mohan Pothineni, popularly regarded as Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. He finished his schooling at Chettinad.
In 2002, Ram acted in Adayaalam, a Tamil short movie and won Best Actor for the European Film Festival. Notable film was presented to the producer and director in the New Jersey Art Film Festival. Ram made his debut with Devadasu in 2006 and later became a hit in the Odeon70 mm theater, running 175 days in 17 locations, finishing 205 days.
Jagadam, his second film, was directed by Sukumar. While it did not perform well in the box office, it was widely applauded. He then appeared along with Genelia D'Souza, directed by Srinu Vaitla in Ready, and the film was a big hit, taking remakes to many Indian languages and bringing him to the great league.
In 2009, he made two releases, Maska and Ganesh Just Ganesh, which he did not perform in the box office. On an opening day, Maska had one of the most successful opens, earning over 2.5 crores and restoring its investment in the first week.
Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, produced by Dil Raju and directed by Srivaas released in 2010. Ram's next release, Kandireega, was a brilliant 2011 hit, and Ram and his lover boy image were the man of the masses. His next release was Tamannaah, directed Endhukante Premanta produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, directed by Karunakaran. The film was filmed in lovely premises with a massive budget, but only an ordinary grosser.
In 2013, Ongole Githa with Kriti Kharbanda, directed by Bhaskar and produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad, were declared by Ram again. The film was released on 1st February 2013 and sold for a record-breaking price in the career of Ram.
He then starred at Masala with Daggubati Venkatesh, the remake of the Hindi film Bol Bachchan directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and Suresh Babu jointly produced.
In 2014, the new film Pandaga Chesko, directed by Gopi Chand Malineni to be produced by Paruchuri Kireeti under United Movies Banner, was released on 29th May 2014.
Pandaga Chesko did not release such positive feedback, but managed to find the right chord with the masses and became a hit movie in 2015. Then Shivam and Nenu Sailaja released the same year within three months. Both were produced by his own production house, Shivam took a fantastic start, but could not stay because of poor feedback.
It is the world's largest record set of 7 crores on day 1 with Nenu Sailaja's imminent release becoming highly well-received worldwide. This is a highlighted music video album for a Telugu movie on YouTube containing more than 3 songs with 10 million views and "Crazy Feeling" with more than 20 million views on a Telugu film.
Then on 30th September, 2016, Hyper movie got released and was directed by Santosh Srinivas and produced under 14 reels entertainment banner. It took a massive worldwide launch. Movie bags combined class and general ratings and ultimately is an average grosser.
The next movie was Ismart Shankar, it got succeeded at box office and got good reviews from audience and critics as well. His acting in this movie was marvelous. This movie had an excellent music album where the music videos got millions of views in youtube.
