Sreekanth Addala is an Indian film director in the film industry of Telugu and was born on the 19th of September.
Career:
Sreekanth directed his first film Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Varun Sandesh, and Shweta Basu Prasad, after working on several movies as Assistant Director. The film was well-received and proclaimed one of the most successful successes in 2008. In 2013, his second Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu project was initiated.
Mukunda, released on 24th December 2014. His latest release, Brahmotsavam, released on 20th May 2016. He has worked for many Telugu movies as an associate director. In 2004 he served as an assistant director for the Arya film. His relationship with film producer Dil Raju started with this film.
After Bommarillu he made a three months gap and came up with Kotha Bangaru Lokam 's script. Six more months, he worked on the script. And eventually, Sreekanth had the chance in 2008 to direct Dil Raju's first film. The movie, with Varun Sandesh and Shweta Basu Prasad, was Kotha Bangaru Lokam.
The film has won numerous Nandi Awards and Filmfare Awards in distinct categories. It was also nominated for the Filmfare Award under Best Movie Category.
The film was popular commercially. After almost two years, Sreekanth started working on a Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, a multi-starrer movie. The film stars Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu, produced again by Dil Raju. The film was released on 11th January 2013 and generated massive responses from all around the world.
He successfully initiated the film "Mukunda", featuring Nagendra Babu's son Varun Tej in the lead role in the year 2014.
