Maruthi Dasari is an Indian director, screenwriter and producer, known as Maruthi, who works mainly in Telugu cinema.
He's well known for running low-budget movies like Bus Stop, Ee Rojullo. Maruthi is connected to Maruthi Talkies, a Telugu Film Industry production company.
Personal Life:
Maruthi was born in the district of Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh . In Machilipatnam, he ended his schooling.
Later, after his graduation, Maruthi relocated to Hyderabad. He studied animation and joined DQ Entertainment International, where he was one of the city's first batch of animators.
He got married in 2003 to Veenaraga Spandana. In order to earn some money for his expenses, he used to paint signboards and number plates of cars.
Career:
As a co-producer for the film Premisthe, A Film by Aravind, Maruthi began his career. He subsequently joined the distribution field and released several films. He then proceeded to develop ads & designs.
Chiranjeevi heard about him and asked him to draw a flag for the Praja Rajyam Party and other advertisements for the group as well.
Maruthi decided to take on the role of director after being influenced by working with Ram Gopal Verma, and began working on his first movie.
He introduced 'Ee Rojulla' in 2012, featuring actors such as Srinivas, Reshma Rathore, Shankar Rao, etc.
The film is considered to be one of the lowest budget films with a production budget of about four crores, which ended up earning three times the box office expense of around 12 crores.
'Kotha Janta' in 2014,' Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' in 2015, both of which he directed, are some of his popular works.

At the SIIMA Awards, Maruthi won Ee Rojullo 's Best Debutant Director Award.
