Rashmika Mandanna Biography:
Rashmika Mandanna is an Indian film on-screen actress & model and was brought into the world on April 5th, 1996. Began her vocation as a model, she made her film debut with Kannada film, Kirik Party in 2016.
Rashmika was born into a Kodava family in Virajpet, a town in the Kodagu district of Karnataka. Prior to the pre-university course in Mysore's Institute of Commerce & Arts, she studied at Coorg Public College. She is at present seeking after a bachelor's degree in Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature from M.S.Ramaiah College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Bangalore. For the first time, Rashmika met Rakshit Shetty at Kirik Party sets in 2016. They have begun dating in the wake of working together and got engaged at a private ceremony in her hometown of Virajpet on July 3rd, 2017. The couple broke off their relationship in September 2018, due to intimacy problems.
Rashmika started modeling in 2014. The same year, she received the title Clean & Clear Fresh Face of India and turned into the brand ambassador for Clean & Clear. Then she received the title of TVC in Lamode Bangalore's 2015 Top Model Hunt.
Rashmika made her acting debut in the movie Kirik Party in Kannada 2016. She appeared in two commercially successful movies in 2017, Anjani Putra, and Chamak. Later, in 2018, she made her Telugu debut with romantic drama Chalo.
She starred the same year in the romcom movie Geetha Govindam, which has become one of the Telugu cinema's highest profits and has won her wide recognition. Her third Telugu film was a large-budget multi-starred movie named Devadas. It marked her third consecutive successful film in the same year in the Telugu film industry after she achieved a first hat trick-hit in the Kannada film industry, establishing herself as one of Telugu and Kannada cinema's leading actresses.
She has acted in commercially successful films such as Kirik Party (2016), Anjani Putra (2017), Chalo (2017), Geetha Govindam (2018), Yajamana (2019), Sarileru Neekevvaru (2020) and Bheeshma (2020) The consecutive success of movies has made her one of the most coveted-after actresses in the South Indian film industry.
Kannada unveiling and Quantum leap success:
She recalled in an interview: "The Kirik Party producers saw a photo of mine from the 2014 Indian Clean & Clear Fresh Face competition, where I was dancing during the college round, and asked me to act in the film. So, things got rolling, and I had always wanted to be in movies. She was cast as a college-goer Saanvi Joseph and Karna's love interest played by Rakshit Shetty. The film premiered to stellar reviews on the part of both critics and audiences. Alongside this, Rashmika's performance earned appreciation and won the 2016 Best Actress(debut) SIIMA Award.
