Rajamouli’s much awaited film ‘Eega’ (Naan Ee in Tamil) which is slated for release on May 30th, will not be released on that date. Yes, this news has been confirmed by Rajamouli himself in twitter. He also apologized his fans for not releasing the film as per the scheduled time. Rajamouli mentioned: “For every film enthusiast out there who have been waiting for eega, I apologise as we are not releasing on 30th of this month.” As we all know, Rajamouli’s ambition is to make CG look and feel real. Hence ‘Eega’ is putting his capability to the test. It appears that the filmmaker looked into his computer monitor and figured something wrong.
He tweeted: “I know it is Disappointing. I am disappointed myself. We underestimated the amount of time for CG. I am extremely happy with the quality of CG 4 the shots I want 2 ensure d same quality is maintained 4 the rest. Everyone is workin 24/7 to get d film out ASAP Hope U'll excuse :)”.
After all, the Tamil version ‘Naan Ee’ was recently sold out for a mammoth figure. That shows how high are the expectations from the film traders as well as the public. Then how would he even compromise in anything that doesn’t give him a complete job satisfaction?
