Kota Gangadhar Reddy, producer of Tarakaratna’s ‘Nandeeswarudu’ was arrested along with Gurivi Reddy by Patna CBI today on charges of his involvement in the Chandigarh medical exam scam. He was accused for hi-tech copying scam in MD and MS (Doctor of Medicine and Master of Surgery) entrance examinations at the PGIMER (Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research) in Chandigarh. It’s learnt that the candidates in the exam center used blue tooth on their smart phones to leak questions from the exam center. From Patna, Kota Gangadhar Reddy transmitted the answers to Gurivi Reddy, who was sitting in a hotel in Chandigarh and Gurivi passed on the same to paid candidates through miniature earphones. Gangadhar and Gurivi along with 14 other accused belong to AP. They were arrested by CBI after the racket busted on November 11th during simultaneous raids in Hyderabad, Patna and Chandigarh.
