Actress Ashwini dies after heart attack at 36

Popular heroine Ashwini died due to heart attack in Sunday in Chennai. The 36 year old actress was being treated at Ramachandra hospital in Chennai for quite some time. Aswini is a famous heroine in the south who worked in more than 150 films in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam put together. In Telugu, she acted as heroine as well as character artist in several films like ‘Pelli Chesi Choodu’ and ‘Vivaha Bhojanambu’ opposite Rajendra Prasad, ‘Koduku Dhidhina Kapuram’, ‘Vajrayudham with super star Krishna as hero, Sobhan Babu’s ‘Srivaru’, ‘Intidonga’ opposite Kalyana Chakravarthy and many other films like ‘America Abbai’, ‘Choopulu Kalasina Subhavela’, ‘Station Master’, ‘Neeku Naaku Pellanta’, ‘Aranyakanda’, etc. Ashwini, who hails from Nellore, gradually settled in Chennai after establishing herself as an actress. At the time her film career was sagging she started off doing roles in TV serials. Recently she has signed a new Telugu TV serial, however the project got postponed due to her illness. As per the source, Ashwini married a Telugu director and has a son through him.
