Kamal Haasan thanked the people after ban was lifted, Vishwaroopam releasing on Feb 7th

‘Vishwaroopam’ which was surrounded by controversial issues so long in Tamil Nadu has finally come out of all hurdles and gave big relief to Kamal Haasan. The actor announced that his prestigious movie is finally hitting the Tamil Nadu screens on 7th of February. After Kamal’s talks with Muslim groups have ended cordially, the Tamil Nadu state government has lifted the ban on ‘Vishwaroopam’ which was imposed by District Collectors and within 24 hours of it came an announcement by Kamal Haasan. Speaking at a press conference Kamal Haasan said, “I thank Chief Minister Jaya Lalitha for helping me to settle the issue amicably, the film fraternity including Bollywood and the people of India for supporting me. My sincere thanks to the media also for taking up my cause and supporting me. ”

“I’m returning with love all cheques and money sent to me keeping your addresses with me. I only know to serve the people by using my talent and skills. Wherever I go and whatever I do, my permanent address is in your hearts”, Kamal added with tears in his eyes on the love and affection showered by his fans who had sent him cheques and DDs expressing their solidarity with him.

‘Vishwaroopam’ was first released in Telugu, two weeks after that it got released in Hindi and one week after that it’s going to be released in Tamil.
