Golden Star Sunil as hero, Mahalakshmi Arts Production No.2 film’s songs recording program was held on Friday morning (August 26) at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. N Shankar is making the film under his own direction. This is the remake of super hit Malayalam film ‘Two Countries’. Education Minister of Telangana G Jagadishwar Reddy has started the song recording. T News MD Santhosh Kumar presented the script. Later, the film unit arranged press meet.
Speaking at the press meet, hero Sunil said, “Malayalam film ‘Two Countries’ is very impressive. Dileep garu played the lead in Malayalam version. In the past, his film ‘Poolarangadu’ was remade in Telugu and became big success. It’s a full-fledged entertainer. It can be watched by the whole family together. Sridhar Sipana, who penned dialogues for ‘Poolarangadu’, is providing for this too. I am working for the first time with Gopi Sundar. Music will be very fresh. The film goes on in an entertaining mode.”
Addressing the gathering, music director Gopi Sundar said, “I have provided music for the Malayalam version. I am very happy that I have been roped in to give music for this too. Working with Shankar garu is very happy and comfort.”
Sridhar Sipana shared, “After ‘Poolarangadu’ and ‘Bhimavaram Bullodu’, this is the third film with Sunil. I am working for the first time with Shankar garu. I will try my best to provide wonderful dialogues.”
On this occasion, director and producer of the film N Shankar said, “With the suggestion of my friends, I have watched Malayalam film ‘Two Countries’. I was very impressed and felt that Sunil is perfectly apt for the lead role. He too was very much impressed by the film and given his nod. It has collected nearly 55 crores there. Basically it’s a comedy entertainer but it has been laced with all emotions. Dileep garu’s film which were remade in Telugu have become big success. No one can do perfect justice for this role except Sunil. All my films are concept based movies. It’s a universal film. It will impress all sects of audience. In my opinion Gopi Sundar is the great music director after Ilayaraja garu. He has provided music for the Malayalam version. Along with orginal songs, we are planning to add some new songs also. Sridhar Sipana is penning wonderful dialogues. Shooting will take place from September to December. 15 days shooting will take place in Hyderabad and the next schedule will be canned in outdoor. 70% shooting will take place in America. The film deals with some sensitive matters between two countries. We will make few changes to the original version to suit for the Telugu nativity without missing the original flavour. Raja ravindra, who is the main reason to start this project, will play a key role in this film.”
