First Nayanatara was considered for this role. The Anushka Shetty’s name was doing rounds. But so far there is no clarity about who will be Gauthamiputra Satakarni’s queen. Since Nayanatara and Anushka are busy the makers are considering
Shriya Saran for the role.
Since other heroines have refused to be a part of this film due to unavailability of dates, looks like this film will go to Shriya. Currently Balakrishna is in USA. He is touring various cities in the US. He will also be celebrating his birthday there.
Sources close to the unit say that the teaser of this film will be released on the 10th of June. Looks like the makers might announce the leading lady’s name on the same day.
