Superstar Vijayashanti is going to make a comeback to silver screen after a long time with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' and the 'Lady Amitabh, as she is fondly called, has revealed that there would be no conflict between her and Mahesh's character in the movie as being speculated.
Talking about Mahesh's rise to stardom, Vijayashanti said that she predicted that way back in 1989, when both of them were working on the movie, 'Koduku Diddhina Kaapuram'. "Seeing his performance on the sets of 'Koduku Diddina Kapuram', I predicted that he would become a big star one day and said the same in an interview. My prediction came true. His rise in movies is similar to that of Sachin's in cricket", Vijayashanti said.
Vijayashanti plays Professor Bharathi in 'Sarileru Neekevvaru', directed by Anil Ravipudi. This Sankranthi, 2020 release will see Mahesh Babu as Major Ajay Krishna and Rashmika Mandanna as his romantic interest. Tamannaah will shake a leg with Mahesh in this movie, which is touted as a fun entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring music.
Prakash Raj, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju are among others who will be seen in other important roles.
