Megastar Chiranjeevi attended the pre-release event of Mahesh Babu's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' held at LB Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking at the 'Mega Super Event' about Chiru, Mahesh Babu said, "I can't thank Chiranjeevi garu enough for gracing our event. He is such an inspiration. He has always encouraged me. I can't forget his words of appreciation after watching 'Okkadu'. He spoke to me for two hours discussing about the film and my performance. He visited the sets of 'Arjun' movie and said "Industry needs actors like you who push the envelope". After watching 'Pokiri', he called me from Puri Jagan's office and when I met him he had spoken at length about the film. His words boosted my confidence. He was the first person to congratulate me when films like 'Srimanthudu' and 'Bharat Ane Nenu' released. I'm also expecting a congratulatory message from him on 11th January ('Sarileru Neekevvaru' release day). He made our day by attending this event".
Chiranjeevi has also showered praises on Mahesh Babu at the event. It was a great day for fans as they got to see Megastar and Superstar sharing such good moments.
