Narasimha Nandi, the director of some of the most critically-acclaimed parallel movies of the 2010s, has announced a new film. This time, he is going to tell a love story set in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Talking about the premise of the untitled drama, which will go on the floors after October 15, Nandi said, "The film tells the story of two lovers whose lives go topsy-turvy because of a series of coronavirus-induced decisions taken by the government that is in awe of the Oscar awards."

The untitled film will have music by Sukumar, while Mohan Reddy is the cinematographer. Editing is by Nagireddy M. A prominent production house will bankroll the film.

The director has previously made films like '1940 Lo Oka Gramam', which won the National Award for Best Film (Telugu), the Nandi-award winning 'Kamala Tho Naa Prayanam' and the acclaimed 'Lajja'. 'Degree College' is his most recent outing.
