Amidst rumours that 'Vakeel Saab' is heading for an OTT release soon (Amazon Prime is its streaming partner), producer Dil Raju has put the record straight. He said that the courtroom drama will stream only after 50 days from the day of its theatrical release.
"All big-star movies have always streamed only after 50 days. There is no truth in the rumour that 'Vakeel Saab' will stream soon. Please do watch our movie only in theatres by masking up. Theatres are taking care of covid protocols," Dil Raju said in a video statement today.
Director Venu Sriram, too, reiterated his producer's words.
The film, also featuring Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla and Prakash Raj, will not face any box-office competition for the rest of the month. It's because notable films like 'Love Story' and 'Tuck Jagadish' have already been postponed. 'Thalaivi' is not coming out and there are doubts over the release of 'Virata Parvam' and 'Paagal' as well.
