Producer Dil Raju and director Venu Sriram on Saturday interacted with the press to talk about the "staggering success" of 'Vakeel Saab' at the box-office.
Speaking on the occasion, director Venu Sriram said that the film has been embraced in a big way by women. "This success is a gift to the Telugu film industry. The Telugu audience have proved yet again that they warm up to meaningful content," he said, adding that he will remember forever the Dil Raju-given opportunity to direct the courtroom drama.
Producer Dil Raju said, "This is a huge film in terms of the extent to which its central message has hit home. Given the pandemic, 'Vakeel Saab' has been watched by more number of people than was expected. Those who are not watching the movie in theatres will surely watch it repeatedly on TV and OTT."
He added that the film has satisfied him on the grounds of both content and monetary earnings. "In recent months, there were at least 4-5 hits. 'Krack', 'Uppena', 'Jathi Ratnalu' and 'Zombie Reddy' made money," Raju said.
