Why 'RRR' sequel talk is a waste of time!

Writer Vijayendra Prasad has said that a sequel to 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' might happen if God wills. In a YouTube interview, Rajamouli's father revealed that Jr NTR has listened to a few ideas during a recent casual meet.

While the 'Baahubali' writer feels that a sequel to 'RRR' might happen, it's a waste of time to speculate about it or hope for it. Rajamouli and his father are yet to complete the script work for Mahesh Babu's movie. It is going to take six months at least. The film might not go on the floors before January 2023. And it will hit the cinemas in 2025, not before. Until then, 'RRR 2' is virtually ruled out.

Recently, Rajamouli hinted at doing 'Baahubali 3' but the same seems to be a non-starter, considering that his father has not spoken about it even when asked by an interviewer.

Rajamouli's films notoriously take years to be wrapped up. Things change in the film industry in six months. 'RRR 2' might seem improbable for the director-writer duo in 2025. Does it make sense to pass our time talking about the uncertain project?
