For a midsized movie, Nani's 'Ante Sundaraniki' has generated unprecedented buzz. Since its trailer is fun to watch, the openings are expected to be remarkable on June 10. Even if the movie's promotions are stopped right away, just the trailer is enough to pull the audience to theatres.
Besides offering hilarity, the trailer creates a sense of comical suspense. What is the issue with Nani's character? This is a question many audience members are asking. There is a reason to believe that Nani is suffering from an 'embarrassing' problem. It could be impotency. But the tenor of the film's 'Curtain Raiser', released in 2020, doesn't indicate so.
But a more plausible reason is that Nani births a child with Nazriya's character. In the trailer, the lead pair is seen holidaying in places presumably far away from their homes. They probably make out one fine day. The heroine is impregnated and stays back. The male lead returns to his place and tries to sort out issues. How this is tied to the idiosyncratic comedy involving the hero's parents is said to be an interesting plot.
The film, directed by Vivek Athreya, heads to theatres on June 10.
