Last week, Mollywood's senior superstar Mammootty contracted coronavirus and has since self-isolated at his home. On Thursday night, his son and actor Dulquer Salmaan made his own coronavirus status public and said that he too had contracted the virus.
"I have just tested positive. I am isolating at home and have mild flu symptoms. Otherwise I am ok. People who were in close contact with me during the shoots over the last few days, please isolate and test if you notice symptoms," the 'Mahanati' actor tweeted. The handsome actor's fans have since been flooding him with 'Get well soon' messages.
Known for the recent acclaimed hit 'Kurup', Dulquer is doing a Telugu film with 'Andala Rakshasi' director Hanu Raghavapudi. Aswini Dutt and Swapna Dutt are producing it. It will probably be released for Summer 2022.
