Prabhudeva is playing a versatile character in his upcoming fantasy comedy, which is titled 'My Dear Bootham'. Its First Look suggests that the movie is quirky and playful at once.
Directed by N Raghavan, the film has Prabhudeva in a role with magical powers. He befriends a schoolboy who is fascinated by his wonderful personality and unusual skills.
A number of Tamil artists are part of the cast. From Ramya Nambeesan to the likes of Samyuktha and Imman Annaachi, they all have significant roles in this theatrical release.
Abhishek Films' Ramesh P Pillai has bankrolled 'My Dear Bootham' on a grand scale. Kollywood composer D Imman, who has set tunes for the movies of Ajith and Rajinikanth in the past, has worked on the movie. UK Senthil Kumar has cranked the camera.
The makers have not yet announced the release date.
As for Prabhudeva, his movies such as 'Flashback' are due for release. He is doing a handful of other movies in Tamil.
