Director's words put Mahesh Babu's fans in confusion

In his most recent interview, director Parasuram Petla refuted the many speculations surrounding 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'. He remarked that the film has nothing to do with the banking system and banks. He categorically stated that the antagonist is no Vijay Mallya who willfully defaults on loans.

What then is the story of the movie? This is the question Mahesh Babu's fans are asking across social media platforms.

For more than a year, media reports have claimed that the hero plays a vigilante-type role in 'SVP' to force defaulters to repay multi-billion bank loans. The title of the film, too, made Mahesh's fans believe this to be the broad storyline of the movie. Fanboys continued to believe it to be the storyline even after the trailer was out.

But Parasuram's last-minute statement has thrown them into confusion.

In a recent interview, art director AS Prakash revealed that three bank sets were put up for the movie. It's puzzling that Parasuram is saying that the film has nothing to do with banks. What are the chances that he has said so in order to create more buzz for the film?
