The film's share is now estimated to be Rs 31 Cr in Telugu. Add another Rs 20 Cr in Hindi, you have proof that Vijay's stamina has made something that looked impossible after the negative public talk, possible.
'Liger' opened to admirable numbers in Hindi when it was released on August 26, proving that VD's craze is big. Vijay's Hindi debut has certainly been a talking point.
Had 'Liger' received positive 'word of mouth', it surely would have made blockbuster revenues. Vijay must now be raring to make a roaring comeback with 'Kushi', which is a Shiva Nirvana directorial co-starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
