'Adipurush' is in for a grand world premiere at an international film festival. Yes, the mythological film will be premiered on June 13, in New York, at the Tribeca Festival. "Ab Vishwa me dekhenge Bharat ki kahani! After 'RRR', 'Adipurush' becomes the next film to represent India on the world map," the makers said on Tuesday night.

"Beyond Excited and Honored! Adipurush, the epic saga of courage and devotion, is set to make its world premiere at the prestigious #TribecaFestival on the 13th of June in New York (sic)," tweeted director Om Raut, sharing the news.

Prabhas, who will be seen as Lord Ram in the movie, said that it is an honour that 'Adipurush' has been selected for the festival premiere. He called it an absolute privilege that the 3D release, starring Kriti Sanon as Sita and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, will be screened there.

Bhushan Kumar of T-Series described the Tribeca Festival as one of the world's most-acclaimed platforms. The producer is elated about the special honour. Mainstream Indian films, especially those made on huge budgets, have rarely been screened internationally prior to their release.

The reactions of the audience at the world premiere will surely be gauged closely by the makers.
