Shocking! 'Bholaa Shankar' did worse than 'Liger', 'Shaakuntalam'

Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger', Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Shaakuntalam', Naga Chaitanya's 'Custody', and Kalyanram's 'Amigos' are counted among the poorest performers at the US box-office in the last one year. 'Bholaa Shankar' reportedly did worse than them on its first Saturday in the overseas market in terms of box-office collections.

As per trade reports, Chiranjeevi's latest release collected lower than even 'Amigos' and Vishwak Sen's 'Das Ka Dhamki' on its first Saturday (which was its second day of release). It didn't collect a gross figure of even $43,000. 'Amigos' collected $2,000 more.

For a Megastar movie, the figure is abysmal. Even in the domestic market, the Meher Ramesh directorial is destined to face humiliation. Already, Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' is overpowering it in many territories.

Fans are hoping that the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor strictly stays away from remaking outdated movies. They want him to do original movies and play his age instead of doing cringe comedy with Sreemukhi and the 'Jabardasth' batch.
