Chennai floods: Actor on terrace as flood levels rise

Vishnu Vishal, who is known for Tamil films like 'FIR' and 'Gatta Kusthi', today took to social media at a time when floods are furiously ravaging Chennai. In his post, the husband of Jwala Gutta wrote that water levels have been on the rise, so much so, they started entering his house in the Karapakkam locality on Tuesday morning.

"I have called for help. No electricity, no wifi. No phone signal. Nothing. Only on the terrace at a particular point, I get some signal. Let's hope I and so many here get some help. I can feel for people all over Chennai," he wrote.

Netizens have been urging him to stay safe.

On the work front, Vishal will be seen in 'Laal Salaam', which is slated to hit the cinemas for Pongal 2024. Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, it has Superstar Rajinikanth in a 15-minute role.
