'Guntur Kaaram': Objectionable gesture to be removed?

The song 'Kurchi Madathapetti' from 'Guntur Kaaram' has sparked a row. Many feel that it is unbecoming of both Mahesh Babu and Trivikram to opt for crass language on the pretext of entertaining.

A theory doing the rounds is that the makers have no plans to retain the dance move where the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor is seen making that 'F you' gesture. "This will surely not make it to the final copy. Haarika & Hassine Creations and Sithara Entertainments have their ears to the ground. They understand that changes have to be made if something doesn't look palatable to the family audience," a serious movie buff wrote.

Recently, before the release of 'Aadikeshava', its director said that a tube light is shoved into the mouth of a baddie so hard that it comes sticking out from the backside of his head. This particular visual didn't make it to the final copy after the interview was trolled badly on social media.

The same might happen in the case of 'Guntur Kaaram'. Mahesh is a superstar. There is no doubt that it is hypocritical to hold him to higher standards while we enjoy problematic, vulgar comedy/lyrics in others' movies. That said, the combination of Mahesh and Trivikram must live up to the best standards.
