Chiranjeevi takes revenge on negative reviews

Megastar Chiranjeevi seems to be somewhat upset with the negative reviews that 'Waltair Veerayya' garnered on January 13. A few websites gave it a paltry 2.25 rating.

During a Zoom call with his fans on Sunday, Chiru made a reference to the low rating and almost avenged the upsetting reviews by saying this: "They gave a 2.25 rating. I now realize that it means 2.25 million dollars," Chiru said, alluding to the box-office gross amassed by his film in the US.

This reminds us of what director Sandeep Reddy Vanga said when 'Kabir Singh', the Hindi remake of 'Arjun Reddy', netted more than Rs 200 Cr at the box office. "The critics gave my film a 2-star rating. The audience gave me Rs 200 Cr," the director said. His comments became viral at that time.
