The birth centenary celebrations of NT Rama Rao have been held all over the world by his supporters and fans. The NTR Centenary Committee has been steering the same.

In July, a special issue of a book titled 'Shakapurashudu' was released. NTR's Legislative Assembly speeches and his historic public speeches are compiled by the book. At that time, Committee Chairman TD Janardhan said that the committee was formed with the determination to do something crucial as a tribute to NTR's legacy. During the TANA Convention in mid-July, a premises built as a tribute to NTR was inaugurated at the hands of Nandamuri Balakrishna. A photo exhibition was also held on the premises.

And now, a 100-foot statue of NTR has been planned to be set-up in Hyderabad. Invitations have been extended to people living across the world for its inaugural.

In the US, NTR centenary celebrations were organized in Connecticut, New Jersey, Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Los Angeles in North Carolina, and in a couple of cities in California. In those meetings, the agenda and the continuous efforts of the committee were explained to participants.

"There was an unexpected response everywhere. On the occasion, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Nandamuri Ramakrishna were thanked for backing the committee's efforts," the TD Janardhan said.
