Guntur Kaaram: 'Highly Inflammable' disappoints Mahesh Babu's fans

The caption of 'Guntur Kaaram' is the same as that of Jr NTR's 'Rakhi'. 'Highly Inflammable' has not gone down well with the fans of Mahesh Babu because it looks borrowed. Krishna Vamsi's 2006 film had the exactly same caption.

The fans of the 'Sakraru Vaari Paata' star are likely to exert pressure on the makers of 'Guntur Kaaram' to drop the caption. They won't mind it even if Trivikram doesn't come up with a new tagline.

It is better not to have a caption than have a "copied" one.

Films should desist from opting for captions, which has become an old-fashioned practice. The trend of using captions began in the late 1990s in Telugu cinema. Till about the early 2010s, captions managed to be attractive for big movies. Later on, they lost all the charm. It's better to use phrases like 'Highly inflammable' in the trailer, not as a caption.
