'Salaar': What is there to highlight about Shruthi Haasan's comments?

Shruthi Haasan recently said that 'Salaar' is a Prabhas film and that she has no issues in acknowledging that. "'Salaar' is indeed Prabhas’s film as the story is written and narrated for him," the star actress, known for this year's hits 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy', has been quoted as saying.

One wonders what is there to highlight about her comments, which are a no-brainer. A lot of those who are eagerly waiting for 'Salaar' have no clue that Shruthi is part of the film. A Prabhas-starring pan-Indian film is a Prabhas film, first and foremost. The alpha and omega of an event film starring Prabhas has been that it is a Prabhas film. 'Saaho' and 'Radhe Shyam' had only one USP: Prabhas. 'Adipurush' was different because its subject was based on the Ramayana and the genre acquired primacy among the Hindi audience.

When it comes to an action drama, it is the hero and the hero alone who matters the most. If anything, the question about 'Salaar' must be put to director Prashanth Neel, who is a brand name because of 'KGF'. How does Neel see 'Salaar' being equated with Prabhas in popular imagination, especially in the Telugu States?
