It is known that Naga Chaitanya last year completed shooting for Amazon Prime Video's web series 'Dhootha'. The series, directed by Vikram K Kumar, will be released soon. Its post-production, quality control by the streaming giant, and other works took more than a year. As per the latest buzz in the town, the 8-episode series will grace Prime Video sooner than expected.

It is also said that the horror series has been made at a cost of Rs 40 Cr. Producer Sharat Marar has bankrolled it. Last year, Marar had to suffer a box-office disaster in the form of Nagarjuna's 'The Ghost'. He must be sincerely hoping for 'Dhootha' to clock millions and millions of streaming minutes on Prime across languages.

Last year, before the release of 'Thank You', Chay said that he has got no heroine in 'Dhootha'.

As for director Vikram, he was last year in talks with Mythri Movie Makers for a Telugu project, which didn't take off after the failure of 'Thank You'. "I have plans to complete the script for a sequel to '24'," he said in an interview at that time.
