'Samayama' from 'Hi Nanna' will become a loop song: Nani

Natural Star Nani's 'Hi Nanna' is scheduled to be released in theatres in December (around Christmas). On Saturday, its first song was released after much hyping up. Titled 'Samayama', the melody has been composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab of Mollywood. "My gut feeling says it’s our new loop song," the 'Dasara' actor tweeted, plugging the song.

Written by Ananth Sriram, the song has been rendered by Anurag Kulkarni and Sithara Krishnakumar.

The song lacks freshness. The mood feels like it has the hangover of a song from the recent Vijay Deverakonda-Samantha Ruth Prabhu release, 'Kushi', for which, too, Hesham was the music director. Mere feel-goodness is not enough for a song to sound original. 'Samayama' has been shot on Nani and Mrunal Thakur.

The film, directed by Shoury UV, has dialogues written by Nagendra Kasi. Partly set in Goa, it has Shruti Haasan in a special role.
