'Thandel', produced by Geetha Arts and directed by Chandoo Mondeti, is touted to be a one-of-its-kind action thriller. Starring Naga Chaitanya in a fierce role, the movie stars Sai Pallavi as the heroine.
As per the buzz on social media, the movie's post-theatrical digital rights have been bagged by Netflix for an unbelievable figure of Rs 40 Cr for Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi versions. The figure being bandied about is too good to be true. At a time when the lucre of digital rights has come down drastically due to streaming giants rationalizing the costs, Rs 40 Cr for a Chay film sounds exaggerated. Many believe that the figure has been inflated.
