Rana Daggubati has been promoting studio culture at Ramanaidu Studios. It's good that he hasn't stuck to a treaden path as an actor. He is aware of his legacy. Which is why he has got into talent management, spotting writing talents, supporting indie movies, and all.
Manchu Vishnu has had entrepreneurial ambitions but he has made little progress so far. Despite 24 Frames Factory and other offshoots that emanated because of him, he hasn't been a force to reckon with in any manner.
Vishnu's latest endeavour is Taranga Ventures, a 100 million USD initiative that is in talks with Hollywood legend Will Smith. Several investors and finance experts have been onboarded. The idea is to make a mark in the OTT space and other media. If this one clicks, Vishnu will have turned a new leaf. It could become an equivalent of his father's initiatives in the education sector.
However, his recent endeavours like 'Mosagallu' and now 'Kannappa' don't inspire confidence in Taranga Ventures. He hasn't shown any great inclination to be different from others. How come such a resourceful man with so much financial muscle continues to choose unexciting writers and directors? It's a million-dollar question. Rana has been able to back films like 'Care Of Kancharapalem' and '35-Chinna Katha Kaadu'. On the other hand, Vishnu has failed comprehensively.
