The buzz is that director Venky Atluri's next two films are going to be led by actors Suriya and the yet-to-debut Nandamuri Mokshagnya.
Suriya's film will likely go on the floors in the second half of 2025. Venky Atluri is said to have readied a role model-type character for the Kanguva actor. Suriya is currently busy with Karthik Subbaraj's Retro (Summer 2025 release) and another film (directed by RJ Balaji).
Mokshagnya, who has dilly-dallied on his acting debut for many years, is slated to team up with Prasanth Varma of HanuMan fame. After this, he might go on to do Aditya 999 Max, to be directed by his father, Balakrishna. His teaming up with Venky Atluri might happen in late 2026 or even later.
Venky Atluri's most recent directorial, Lucky Baskhar, is currently streaming on Netflix. Starring Dulquer Salmaan in the lead, the film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.
