Naveen Polishetty as Lakshmana in a film based on the Ramayana. This is the latest joke invented by the cinema media. As per a section of the Tollywood media, Bollywood director Nitesh Tiwari is considering the 'Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya' actor for the role of Rama's brother in his magnum opus 'Ramayan'. As is known, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are playing Rama and Sita, respectively, in the film.
The actor from 'Jathi Ratnalu' often wears a laid-back, slightly humorous expression. He displays a good awareness of his own abilities and limitations. Consequently, he wisely avoids roles that require a more serious demeanor. It's unlikely that any discerning director would consider casting Naveen for such a character.
Naveen was last seen in 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'. Produced by UV Creations, the film was a box-office hit. It featured Anushka Shetty in the lead.
