Naga Babu, speaking at the pre-release event of 'Operation Valentine' the other day, got carried away. When discussing his son Varun Tej's physical attributes, he implied that height is the primary factor when portraying roles such as a soldier, army officer, police officer, or similar characters. "If someone standing at just 5'3'' ft portrays a cop, it would appear comical. The credibility factor would be lacking," he said.
It has been perceived that Naga Babu was indirectly mocking a particular hero. On Thursday, a day ahead of the release of Varun Tej's movie, Naga Babu put out an apology.
"I said that it would be good if people who are 6 ft three inches do the role of a policeman, but it won't hurt if people who are 5 ft three inches do it. It came randomly but not as deliberate words. I hope everyone will understand and forgive me," the Mega Brother said.
