New talk: 'OG' postponed indefinitely to 2025

'OG', starring Pawan Kalyan, was supposed to head to theatres on September 27 without fail. Even as recently as in April, producer DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainment asserted that the release date won't be changed.

Afresh, the talk in the town is that 'OG' will not hit the cinemas this year. The gangster drama will be released in the first half of 2025.

Starring Emraan Hashmi as the villain, the film's shoot is pending to a reasonable extent. Directed by Sujeeth Sign, the film co-stars Arjun Das, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Venkat, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, and Ajay Ghosh. SS Thaman (music director), Ravi K Chandran (director of photography), and AS Prakash (production designer) are working on the project.

The film's OTT rights are said to have been sold to Netflix. The streaming giant has rumouredly shelled out Rs 75 towards the digital rights.
