In January this year, Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations announced that 'Shatamanam Bhavathi 2' will hit the cinemas for Sankranthi 2025. This is a sequel to the 2017 blockbuster, 'Shatamanam Bhavathi'. The sequel won't be directed by Satish Vegesna.
As per the latest rumour in the town, Ashish Reddy will be its male lead. The 'Rowdy Boys' actor recently got married. He is Raju's nephew.
Apparently, the makers haven't finalized any hero. It won't be Sharwanand but a relative newcomer who will play the male protagonist. Whether it would be Ashish or not is a moot question. As a young actor who has yet to taste success, Ashish might prefer the family entertainer. However, he will be at a loss if comparisons with Sharwanand surface. And those comparisons are inevitable.
Ashish is currently doing a film titled 'Love Me: If You Dare'. 'Baby' actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya is its heroine. The film will hit the cinemas in April this year.
