It is known that 'KGF' fame Yash is doing a pan-Indian film named 'Toxic'. Kareena Kapoor was roped in to play a leading role in the 2025 release. As per the latest developments in the Mumbai cine field, she has opted out of the project due to dates issues.
The Bollywood heroine was supposed to play Yash’s rebellious sibling in the action drama. She had demanded as much as Rs 10 Cr for the project.
With her exit, it is believed that Nayanthara has replaced her. The 'Jawan' actress is kicked about the project and could be paid more than what Kareena was offered. Also, there are no dates issues with her. Director Geetu Mohandas, the film will be made on a tight budget of Rs 200 Cr.
As of today, the film is expected to hit the cinemas on April 10 next year unless it gets postponed. It is believed that the makers might rope in five music directors for five different songs in the gangster drama.
