Five years of hard work on the 'Pushpa' duology has put Allu Arjun on the top of the game in terms of remuneration. As per a Forbes India report, Bunny is the highest-paid Indian actor currently.
The report stated that the Icon Star received a remuneration of Rs 300 Cr for 'Pushpa 2'. This is on the back of a share in the revenue that he has been given for doing the sequel. A recent estimate put the figure at Rs 270 Cr. The Forbes report validates the estimate on the upside.
Thalapathy Vijay received a remuneration of Rs 200 Cr for 'The Greatest Of All Time'. For his last film, to be directed by H Vinoth and which is yet to be shot, he will be paid Rs 275 Cr. This makes him the second highest-paid actor in the country.
There is a gap of Rs 25 Cr between the remunerations of Allu Arjun and Vijay. The former opted for a revenue-sharing model, while the latter gets paid a fixed sum, a report says. Whereas Bunny had to spend three years on 'Pushpa 2', in the given period, Vijay did three movies.
