Jana Sena Party has put out an interview video of Anjana Devi, the mother of Pawan Kalyan. The 18-minute long interview has the old woman talk about Power Star's childhood.
Anjana Devi recounted a particularly painful memory from the YSRCP rule, when her son was denied entry into Andhra Pradesh. "It broke my heart to see him sleeping on the road," she tearfully recalled.
She also revealed that she had asked her son to focus exclusively on acting when he became the Youth Wing leader of Praja Rajyam in 2009. "He told me he would like to do both," Anjana Devi revealed.
The interviewer tried her best to elicit a particular response from her but her attempts failed. The intent behind asking her if she wishes for her son to reach greater heights in the field of politics was to make Anjanamma use those two golden words: 'Chief Minister'. But the interviewee did not explicitly express that wish.
