The success of 'Saripodhaa Sanivaaram' has energized Nani like never before. His gamble paid off in a terrific way. Director Vivek Athreya, after delivering a flop for him in the past, has redeemed himself with the film. The 'Ante Sundaraniki' actor is now out to give another director a new lease of life. 'Saindhav' maker Sailesh Kolanu, the creator behind the 'HIT' franchise, is the one.
On Thursday, the third installment in the franchise was announced by Nani, whose Wall Poster Cinema is producing the crime thriller. "Less of a cop. More of a criminal. Arjun Sarkaar takes charge," Nani wrote on social media.
The team is prepared to release the movie in theatres on May 1, 2025.
A strong technical team has also been assembled: Mickey J Meyer (music) and Sanu John Verghese (cinematography) are among the ones.
'HIT 1' and 'HIT 2' were led by Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, respectively. 'HIT 3' will have to be made on a bigger budget and scale so that Nani's presence is justified.
