Chandra Hass, the son of 'ETV' Prabhakar, is all set to make his debut on October 4 with a movie titled 'Ram Nagar Bunny'. Prabhakar is one of its producers.
Apparently, Prabhakar has invested a great deal in making his son a lead actor. "When I produced a TV serial for the first time many years ago, I had to sell my car off. When that amount was not enough, I borrowed from my friends. I would have produced my son's first movie somehow even if I didn't have enough money with me. He is talented. Be positive about my son. Don't pre-judge his talent. There are many who will encourage everyone because of their nature. Those sisters who have always encouraged me will also encourage my son because he is my son. After the first few shows, 'Ram Nagar Bunny' will take off based on word of mouth," Prabhakar said.
Prabhakar's confidence is strange. We have seen how TV and cinema are different universes altogether. The likes of Sohel Ryan and VJ Sunny have been neglected by cine-goers even though they became popular thanks to Bigg Boss. When Siva Balaji acted in a movie titled 'Snehamera Jeevitham' after his Bigg Boss win, nobody gave it a damn. Suma Kanakala's 'Jayamma Panchayati' sank without a trace even though she is a household name in the Telugu States.
