The Ravi Babu-directed Razor is heading to theatres on May 8. The film, headlined by the director himself, is his career's most violent movie yet.
"The following content is not suitable for the faint-hearted viewer. Discretion is advised. Justice has to be brutal," the makers said, sharing a video glimpse last year. Razor, which evokes a sense of violence, is an unapologetic crime thriller with vigilante action.
Suresh Productions and Flying Frogs Production are its presenter and producer, respectively.
Ravi Babu's filmmaking had a degree of novelty in the 2000s. Allari, Nuvvila, Avunu, and Anasuya showed that his craftsmanship had calibre and his story-telling had a voice. At one point, he even tried to cast Uday Kiran and Tarun, two of the big young actors. In the mid-2010s, deterioration started and his fall has been spectacular ever since. Will Razor be his comeback movie? Let's hope!
