Producer SKN has described the illegal online leak of Jana Nayagan as "truly heartbreaking". He empathized with KVN Productions, which has invested Rs 350 Cr on the prestigious project.
SKN is no stranger to such a setback. In 2018, ahead of the release of his production, Vijay Deverakonda's Taxiwaala, he was devastated when some portions of the film got leaked online. "The stress, disappointment, and emotional toll that come with such incidents are immense. So much hard work, passion, and countless sleepless nights go into creating a film, and moments like these are incredibly disheartening," SKN wrote, extending his sympathies to Thalapathy Vijay. "Stay strong cinema is bigger than these setbacks, and the love of the audience will always prevail. Let’s stand together and support films the right way," he added.
Besides SKN, the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Deverakonda himself have condemned the leak.
SKN, on the film production front, is doing Chennai Love Story currently. The film is fronted by the Kiran Abbavaram-Sri Gouri Priya duo. It will be a Monsoon release. Co-produced by Dheeraj Mogilineni, its music is by Mani Sharma.
