Director Hanu Raghavapudi's magnum opus, Fauzi, is currently being filmed across two locations in Hyderabad, with two separate units working at the same time to keep production on schedule. "The main unit is shooting near Gandipet, where Prabhas and the rest of the cast are filming key portions of the film. Simultaneously, a second unit is stationed at Ramoji Film City, working on a water-based action sequence," a report says.
The film, backed by Mythri Movie Makers, is a period action drama in which Prabhas plays a soldier of the Azad Hind Force, with the story set against a World War II backdrop. The cast also includes Imanvi Ismail, Mithun Chakraborty, and Anupam Kher, among others.
Fauzi is scheduled for release on December 3. Producer Y Ravi Shankar, earlier this week, reconfirmed the movie's release date. "We are on track to hold premieres grandly on the night of December 2," he stated.
As for Spirit, another Prabhas-starrer that has been in the making for several months, its shoot is on a one-month break. Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga plans to bring out the movie on March 5 next year.
